World Mission Sunday 2026 – 100 years united in mission

On Sunday, October 18, we celebrate World Mission Sunday 2026, a very special day on which we commemorate 100 years of commitment to the missions. Under the motto "One in Christ, united in mission," we join in prayer and solidarity with the missionaries who proclaim the Gospel throughout the world.

This Sunday, October 18, 2026, we celebrate the centenary of World Mission Sunday, the World Day of the Missions, under the motto "One in Christ, united in mission." For 100 years, this day has invited us to remember that the whole Church is missionary and that every Christian is called to share the joy of the Gospel, both in their immediate surroundings and in the most needy places of the world. At the Parish of San Pascual Bailón in El Perelló, we join this universal celebration, giving thanks for the generous dedication of so many missionaries who devote their lives to proclaiming Jesus Christ and serving others. During this day, we invite you to pray for the missions, to learn about their work, and to collaborate, as far as your means allow, with the Pontifical Mission Societies. Our prayer and generosity help sustain Christian communities, pastoral projects, and the presence of the Church in mission territories. Mission is a shared responsibility: we can all contribute through our prayer, our witness, and our solidarity. Let us celebrate together these 100 years of mission and hope!
